تر څلوېښت کښته څلوېښت په نامه دغه پروګرام د اروپا د دوو مخکښو څېړنيزو او علمي ادارو په مشرۍ او د اروپايي کميسيون په ګډون دڅو نورو ورته بنسټونو او نادولتي ادارو په همکارۍ پر مخ بېول کيږي.

په دې ليسټ کې په اروپا کي مېشت له دېرشو تر څلوېښتو کلونو عمر لرونکي هغو تر ټولو غوره استعداد لرونکو څلوېښتو ځوانو نارينه او ښځو نومونه راغلي چې د مشرتابه پر کچه پرېکړو کې ونډه واخلي او نورو ته الهام ورکړي.
داود اعظمي ته په اروپا کي د ځوان مشر د جايزې د زېري ورکولو پر مهال ټاکونکي پلاوي ليکلي.

په دغه پروګرام کي په اروپا کي ميشتو څه باندي پنځه سوه مليونو وګړو کي د بيلو ډګرونو لکه سياست، اقتصاد، لوړو/اکاډېميکو زدکړو، علمي او څېړنيزو فعاليتونو د بې ساري برياليتوبونو لرونکي څېرې غوره سوي دي.
ددغې جايزې لپاره د انتخاب په لړ کي لومړی د پوټانشېل لرونکو يا هغو کسانو چي د غوره کېدو امکان يې ډېر وي، يو ليسټ جوړ سو. او ورپسې د ټاکونکې کمېټې لخوا په هغه کي غورچاڼ وسو. تر وروسته په دې ليسټ کي راغلو کسانو وړتياوي او لاس ته راوړني وارزول سوې. په پای کي د ټولي اروپا پر کچه څلوېښت کسان د لومړي کتار د ځوانو مشرانو په د تر څلوېښت کښته څلوېښت لپاره توګه وټاکل سول.
جايزې:
داود اعظمي تر دې وړاندي هم د نړۍ او سيمي پر کچه يو شمېر معتبرې جایزې ګټلي دي.
په سویس کې نړیوال اقتصادي فورم (WorldEconomic Forum) ده په ۲۰۱۱م کال کې د زرګونو کاندیدانو له ډلې څخه د نړۍ پر کچه د ځوانو نړيوالو مشرانو (Young Global Leaders (YGL په ډله کې غوره کړی.
دغه جایزه تراوسه په ټوله نړۍ کې هغو نژدې ۷۰۰کسانو ته ورکړل سوې چې د پيښو د پوهاوي ترڅنګ يې مهمې لاسته راوړنې درلودلې او د رهبرۍ یا لیډرشیپ په برخه کې یې وړتیا ښودلې ده.
د ځوانو نړيوالو مشرانو ټولنې غړي د نړۍ تر ټولو تکړه او د راتلونکي مشران دي چې د نړۍ د ستونزو په هوارولو کې هڅې کوي او مهم هدف يې له نړۍ څخه د يوه خوندي او لا ښه ځای جوړل دي.
نړیوال اقتصادي فورم داود اعظمي ته د مبارکۍ ویلو پرمهال د هغه لاسته راوړنې او ټولنې ته ژمنتیا ستایلې او د نړۍ د حالت د ښه کیدو لپاره يې د هغه وړتیا اغیزمنه بللې ده.
دی په بي بي سي تر ټولو کشر نفر و چي په ۲۰۰۹م کال کې يې د بي بي سي تر ټولو لوړه جايزه (Global Reith Award forOutstanding Contribution) وګټله.

داود اعظمي ديارلس کاله کيږي چې د بي بي سي د نړېوال سروېس (BBC World Service) له بيلو څانګو سره په لندن کې د مشر پروډيوسر په توګه کار کوي.
نوموړی په ۲۰۱۰ – ۲۰۱۱کلونو کي په کابل کې د بی بی سی د دفتر مشر و.
ده په بيلو پوهنتونونو کي درس هم ورکړی دی. نوموړی په ۲۰۰۶ او ۲۰۰۹کلونو کې په یوه امريکايي پوهنتون کې ميلمه استاد (Visiting Scholar) و.
ددې ترڅنګ نوموړي په لندن کي په وېسټ مينسټر پوهنتون (University of Westminster) کي هم د ميلمه استاد (Visiting Lecturer) په توګه درس ورکوی.
ښاغلي اعظمي د يو شمېر څېړنيزو او علمي راډيويي پروګرامونو د جوړولو ترڅنګ په بيلو ژبو ډېري مقالې هم ليکلي دي.
ده همداراز د نړۍ په بيلو هيوادونو کي يې په علمي غونډو او کنفرانسونو کي د افغانستان او نړۍ د کلتوري، ټولنیزو، سیاسي او امنیتي موضوعاتو په اړه تر سلو ډيري مقالې او ويناوي اورولي دي.
زدکړي:
داود اعظمي د ډاکټرۍ ترڅنګ په بيلو څنګو لکه سياست، اقتصاد، نړيوالي اړيکي، ډيپلوماسي، ټولنپوهنه او ادبیاتو، ژورناليزم، حقوق او ساينس کي درې لېسانس(Bachelor) او درې د ماسټرۍ (Master’s) ډګرۍ لري.

Dawood Azami has been selected as a European Young Leader under the the first pan-European program of leadership called ''40 UNDER 40''.
While informing Dawood Azami, the selction committee said in its email that “together with the other participants, you will form a unique community that can dramatically affect the lives of future generations and craft innovative responses to address European challenges.”
Following are the details about the ''40 UNDER 40'' award.
40 UNDER 40The "European Young Leader" program, entitled “40 UNDER 40”, is the first pan-European program of leadership which brings together forty of the European Union’s brightest young minds aged between 30 and 40. This high-level initiative has been developed by two European think-tanks (EuropaNova and Friends of Europe) with the support of the European Commission, foundations and private partner and brings together the continent’s most promising talents to contribute to Europe’s leadership through their capacity to federate and inspire people. Participants of the program will form a unique community that can dramatically affect the lives of future generations and craft innovative responses to address the challenges Europe faces. 40 UNDER 40 / European Young Leaders program aims to develop a collective vision by bringing togather a new generation of opinion leaders and the best talents in various fields in the continent. Reflecting the diversity of European players, the program also aims to address the current multilevel crisis.
Selection process:
The founders of the 40 UNDER 40 program have established a clear selection process involving their European partners who make a list of the potential leaders through their networks. The selection committee then reviews the profiles of each candidate, evaluate their enthusiasm and achievements and assess their ability to contribute to the enrichment of relationships between different European countries.
Selection criteria:
· He/she must be aged between 30 and 40.
· He/she must have a record of extraordinary achievements and substantial leadership experience. Candidates are evaluated on their potential to reach the highest levels of their chosen profession.
· He/she must have demonstrated a commitment to serve the society at large through exceptional contributions, and has a global perspective.
· He/she must have an impeccable record in the public eye, hold good standing in his/her community, and be able to demonstrate a high level of self-awareness and a desire to learn.
· He/she must be fluent in English, in addition to at least one other European language.
EuropaNova is a Paris based “action-tank” founded in 2003 to take concrete action, better inform Europeans and encourage direct dialogue between citizens and policy makers in the European Union. EuropaNova aims to foster public debate on European issues and to foster the emergence of new generations and political leaders in different Member States.
Friends of Europe-Les Amis de l’Europe is a Brussles based not-for-profit leading independent think tank that aims to stimulate thinking on the future of European Union. It encourages wider involvement in Europe's future and has been involved in fostering open discussion, stimulating new thinking and collecting and generating ideas vital for policymaking. Friends of Europe also co-publishes Europe’s World, the independent Europe-wide policy journal, with a network of 150+ think-tanks.
Dawood Azami — Brief Biography:
Dawood Azami is an award winning broadcast journalist working for the BBC World Service in London. He joined the BBC in 1999 — first as Producer and then as Senior Broadcast Journalist. He also worked as the BBC World Service Bureau Chief and Editor in Kabul, Afghanistan (2010 and 2011). Dawood was also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster, London, where he taught on a module “Globalization, Power and International Governance”. He also worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Ohio State University, USA. He holds three Bachelor's and three Master's degrees, including Science, Law, International Relations and Diplomacy. Dawood has won many awards and prizes. In 2012, he was selected as a Young European Leader as part of the 40 UNDER 40 initiative, the first pan-European program of leadership which brings together forty of the European Union’s brightest young minds aged from 30-40. He was selected as a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum in 2011 and, in 2010, became the youngest person to ever win the BBC’s “Global Reith Award for Outstanding Contribution”. He recived the first Allama Tarzi (Fahter of Journalism in Afghanistan) Award in Kabul in 2010. Dawood speaks five languages and writes poems and short stories in three of them. He is also a calligrapher and painter/artist.
